Loretta Bettina Marshall passed away August, 7, 2014 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Moore, OK. A visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2014 will be held at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, OK. Graveside service will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Maguire, OK.Loretta was born on November 16, 1928 in Manitou, OK to
William Dewitt and Anna Beatrice (Biggs) Jones. They moved to Frederick, OK
where she graduated from high school in 1947. She was a member of the Honor
Society, the Vagabonds and received a Scholarship award for the school years
1943-1946. She was married in 1948 to Kenneth H. Bagwell, who became a medical
doctor and practiced in Norman. They had two children, Cynthia Ann and Debra
Sue. Through the years she divorced, went back to school and married Dale L.
Marshall in 1970. They enjoyed afternoon drives, going to the lake, football
games and Friday night dancing. She retired from Norman Regional Hospital after
working 19 years as a Medical Transcriptionist in Medical Records. She enjoyed
reading, cross-stitch and jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale L.
Marshall and her daughter Cynthia Ann.
Survivors include a brother, George Dewitt Jones and his wife Carol; daughter, Debra Sue Frost and her husband James; step son, Guy Dale Marshall and his wife Melia; granddaughter, Angela Leigh Deen and her husband Beau; grandson, Kevin David Laney and his wife Kristen; nephews, Jay Jones and his wife Rhonda and Casey Jones and his wife Jan; and soon to be great granddaughter, Olivia Leigh Deen.
