Leroy Wheeler, 84, of Norman, OK passed from this life on February 26, 2015.

He was born May 8, 1930 in Lexington, OK to Johnny and Dora Wheeler.
Leroy was a 1950 graduate at Lexington High School. He was a tag agent in Norman in 1975 and served the community for 34 years. He was also a member of many clubs and organizations throughout Norman including Lion’s Club, Norman Jaycees and United Way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Greg and Rick Wheeler; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Vondell Wheeler (Suchy); daughter, Teresa Choate and husband Roy; daughter-in-law, Margaret Wheeler; brothers, Tom Wheeler and wife Ann, Harold Wheeler and wife Jenny, Doc Lawson and wife Barbara and Charlie Lawson; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

No one offered more love to his family and friends than Leroy. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Leroy will be 12PM-8PM, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Services for Leroy are 1:30PM, Monday, March 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Norman. Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery.
