Laura Moore, age 51 of Lexington, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014. Laura Bell Ramsey was born October 21, 1962 in Oklahoma City, OK, the baby of 6 children born to Arthur Lee Ramsey and Martha Lillie (Bennett) Ramsey. She was raised in Lexington and attended Lexington Schools. Laura married Gary Bonner and to this union, a son, Gary and 2 daughters, Angelina and Connie were born. At this time they lived in Pauls Valley. Laura later married Kevin Moore, where they made their home in Elmore City for nearly 20 years, before she settled back home in Lexington with her mother, Martha Ramsey. Laura worked as a dispatcher in trucking for many years and was currently employed at Greatwide Trucking in Pauls Valley. Laura was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she especially enjoyed spoiling her grandkids. She was into arts and crafts and she loved to cook, and you could always find her at her computer, searching Pinterest or shopping online. Laura liked to gamble and never missed an opportunity to go fishing. Laura loved all things Betty Boop, and was an avid collector of all Betty Boop memorabilia. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by: Her Father, Arthur Ramsey; Brothers, Darrell and Buddy Ramsey; Father-In-Law, George Moore; Mother-In-Law, Mary Moore; Nephew, Jamie Logan; Father-in-law, Jim Bonner; Brother-in-laws, Jimmy Ray Bonner and Roger Moore and Sister-in-law, Jamie Bonner.
Laura leaves behind: Her son, Gary L. Bonner II and wife Katie of Noble; 2 Daughters, Angelina Joyner and fiancé Kenny Dixon of Wynnewood and Connie Pierce and husband Mark of Wynnewood; Her mother, Martha Ramsey, of the home; Brother, Jimmy Ramsey and wife Virginia of Noble; 2 sisters, Marketa Ille and husband Jerry of Lexington and Sherry Logan and husband Mike of Elk City; 8 grandchildren, Morgan, Aly, Shealynn, Eli, Magen, Ian, Jaxson and Braylon; Special Friend, Ramona Seals of Pauls Valley, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 5, 2014 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Burial will be at the Lexington Cemetery.
