A mass of Christian Burial for Wanda Mae Ille, 95, of Lexington was held Nov. 30, 2011 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Interment was at Lexington Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Ille passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 surrounded by her family.

Wanda Mae Rose was born May 12, 1916, the baby of five children born to William Thomas Rose and Matilda Elizabeth (Black) Rose. She was raised on the family farm east of Lexington. Wanda attended the Spring Hill School, later graduating from Lexington High School in 1936.

She married the love of her life, Bernard Ille, on November 24, 1938 in Purcell. Wanda was a devoted Catholic and a longtime member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard in June of 2009; her parents, Will and Lizzie Rose; her sister, Dorothy Felson; three brothers, Wesley, Edwin and Earldon Rose; two sons-in-law, Donnie McKiddy and Clinton Ray and two great-granddaughters, Alexis and Rayann.

Wanda leaves behind her sons, Louis Ille of Lexington and Bernard L. “Dagwood” Ille and wife, Hazel, of Lexington; daughters, Joan McKiddy of Norman and Frances Ray of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Donita Reed and husband, Curtis, of Lexington, Donelda Ellis and husband, Terry, of Purcell, Greg McKiddy and wife, Misty, of Lexington, Clay Ille of Lexington, Travis Ray and wife, Heather, of Norman, Nicole Ray and Alayna Ray, both of Lexington; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
