Sheila Joyce Feuerborn, age 80 of Lexington, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the Norman Regional Hospital.
She was born January 25, 1938 in Lexington, Oklahoma, 1 of 4 daughters born to Hoyt and Martha (Black) Funderburk. Sheila grew up in Lexington and attended school there, graduating with the Class of 1956. On May 7, 1960, she married the love of her life, Raymond Edward Feuerborn, and to this union, David, Michael and Lisa Diane were born. Together, alongside Raymond, Sheila helped run the family business, Blanchard Building Center. She answered phones and kept books and helped anywhere she was needed. She cherished her family and would tell you that her greatest joy was her grandchildren. When not working, she enjoyed crafts and embroidery and she spent many a day tending to her garden. She was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a good friend. She was a woman of faith and longtime member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by:
Her infant daughter, Lisa Diane Feuerborn
Her Sister, Betty Gates and
Her parents, Hoyt and Martha Funderburk.
Sheila is survived by:
Her loving husband, Raymond, of the home;
Two sons, David Feuerborn and wife Jeanne of Blanchard and Michael Feuerborn and wife Sheila of Lexington;
Two sisters, Karen Gates of Lexington and Sharon Price of Clayton, California;
5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Lexington Catholic Cemetery in Lexington. Send online condolences @ wilsonlittle.com
