Jerald Wayne Easter died December 14, 2018 at the age of 56 years 7 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 PM, (Noon), Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Wadley's Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley's Funeral Service.
Jerald was born December 7, 1962 in Vici, Oklahoma to Joseph Dwaine and Colleen Roselie (Turner) Easter. He was raised in Vici, then the family moved to Ames, Oklahoma where Jerald completed his schooling, graduating in 1981. He was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born on June 27, 1982. On December 17, 1982, he married Yuvonne "Susie" Elaine Idlett in Lexington, Oklahoma. Jerald was a framer and commercial painter in his younger years. He then worked as a Custodian, Maintenance Man, and bus driver for Lexington Schools. After 31 years, Jerald retired. He continued to drive the school bus, and has been doing that for almost 33 years. Jerald enjoyed painting the football field every year until he retired. He also enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family.
Jerald is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Colleen Easter; his brother, Earl Easter; and his son, Thomas Easter. Survivors include his wife, Susie Easter; sons, Jeremy Easter and wife, Stephanie, Nathan Easter, Joseph Easter; daughter, Tiffany Easter; siblings, Allen Easter and wife, Tina, Sherry Hays and husband, Ron, Deletha Easter, Selma Easter and many other relatives and friends.
