William Harold Chandler died May 14, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 88 Years 3 Months 3 Days.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow at Lexington Cemetery under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Harold was born February 11, 1927 in Alex, Oklahoma to Joseph Calvin and Bertha Ann (Wilkins) Chandler. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force. Harold worked at Reynolds Ford for 18 ½ years, then built homes for 6 years. He also worked for the City of Lexington for 9 years. Harold retired at the age of 62 and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bertha Chandler; brother, Calvin Cecil Chandler of Lexington; daughter, Mary Lou Cargill of Shidler, Oklahoma; and his wife and best friend of 29 years, Fern Kemp.

Survivors include his sone, Bill Chandler of Lexington; daughters, Theresa Payne and husband, Bob of Ada, Bonnie Keeton and husband, Ken of Edmond, Sue Cargill of Oklahoma City; sisters, Juanita Cheatwood and husband, Melvin of Purcell, Barbara Bruehl and husband, Pat of Noble; 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
