Richard Emmerson Morningstar Sr., age 67 of Pryor, and formerly of Dibble, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Richard grew up in Georgia and then moved to California where he met and married Judy Elaine (Walters) Lane on July 24, 1976, and two families joined together to make one.
In 1982, the family moved to the Oklahoma City area. They lived in Oklahoma City for 18 years before moving to Dibble in the Fall of 2000. Farming was Richard's life. He loved being outside working fields and enjoying the land. Richard’s absolute favorite thing was fishing. He could not wait to throw a pole. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by Wife, Judy Morningstar; Father, Charles Morningstar; Mother and Stepfather, Barbara and James Cheatham.
He is survived by His Children, Richard Morningstar Jr, of Pryor, Oklahoma; Linda Lane of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Ellie Lane of Pryor, Oklahoma; Charlene Dison of Pryor, Oklahoma: and numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.
