Marketa Ille, age 67 of Lexington, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 26, 2021. Marketa Jo Ramsey was born March 13, 1954 in Okla. City, OK, the 4th of 6 children born to Arthur Lee Ramsey and Martha Lillie (Bennett) Ramsey. She was raised in Lexington, and attended Lexington Schools, graduating with the Bulldog Class of 1972.
Marketa couldn't wait to marry her childhood sweetheart and lucky charm, Jerry Ille. So on St. Patrick's Day of her senior year, they both said yes and were married. They made their home in Lexington where they raised their boys, Cale and Kelley. Marketa began working as a Pharmacy Tech for Don's Pharmacy in Purcell, and after a couple of years, she started working for William's Pharmacy in Lexington. Marketa loved her job and her community, and served Lexington and the surrounding areas for more than 45 years.
She was a dedicated wife and mother, and was never happier than the day she became a grandmother to Chloe, Seth, Madison, Sofie and Evelyn. She lived every day for them, and greatly enjoyed chasing them in their various activities and sporting events. Marketa was a woman of faith, and attended the Lexington First Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Martha Ramsey; sister, Laura Moore and brothers, Jim, Darrell and Buddy.
Marketa is survived by: her husband, Jerry Ille of the home; her boys, Cale Ille and wife LaKeta of Wanette and Kelley Ille and wife Melinda of Lexington; Sister, Sherry Logan and husband Mike of Elk City, OK; her pride and joy, grandchildren, Chloe, Seth, Madison, Sofie and Evelyn; several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 30, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Lexington. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
