Ron Harryman, age 80 of Lexington, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. Ronald Kees Harryman was born November 22, 1940 on the family homestead near Lexington. He was the baby of 4 children born to George Manuel Harryman and Ruth Opal (Kees) Harryman. Ron attended Lexington Schools, graduating with the Bulldog Class of 1959.

By chance, while watching a movie at the Grand Canadian Theater in Purcell, he met a young lady from Washington named Mickey Lee Donathan. They were the perfect match and so they headed for Gainesville, TX and were married. They first made their home in Norman. At the time, Ron was a delivery man for Guilt Edge Dairy there. By 1975, they had settled back on the Harryman family homestead, where together they raised two children, daughter Tracie and son, David. Ron began working at Tinker Air Force Base and retired as Xray Ultrasound Tech after more than 22 years of dedicated service.

When he wasn't working, Ron was probably fishing or hunting. He planted a huge garden every year and was a hobby bee keeper, and then frequented the area farmers markets to sell his produce. He was a man of great faith and longtime member of the Wayne Church of Christ. He cherished Mickey, his children and especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Tracie Harryman; his parents, George and Ruth Harryman and his sister, Betty Looman, and his Brothers Gene Harryman and Gary Harryman.

Ron is survived by: his wife, Mickey of the home; son, David Harryman and wife Nancy of Lexington; Grandson, Mike Harryman and wife Crystal of Shawnee; 4 great grandchildren, Carmella, McKenzie, Adryanna and Brooklyn and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 26, 2021, at the Lexington Cemetery. Send online condolences Wilson Little Funeral Home
