Dunkin, Geneva Pearl (Brown), 69, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in Okemah, Oklahoma.
She
was born April 12, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas to William and Ruth (Cottrell) Norvell. Geneva was united in marriage on June 10, 2000 in Oklahoma City, OK to
Donald Dunkin.
Geneva enjoyed playing scrabble, scrapbooking, taking pictures and gardening.
She was a very loving, caring and compassionate mother, wife and sister.
Geneva is survived by her husband, Donald Dunkin of the home; two sons, Carey
Brown and wife Lori of Decatur, TX and Kevin Brown of Norman, OK; stepchildren,
Darrin Dunkin and wife Pam of OKC and Sheila Wallbrown and husband Travis of
Springfield, Indiana; brother, Clifford Norvell of Ponca City, OK; sister,
Emilie Norvell of Lexington, OK; and seven grandchildren.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; her husband Jay Dee Brown in 1995; and one brother,
Dewayne Norvell.
Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 17, 2011 in the Trinity Holiness
Church, 103 S. Van Buren, Blanchard, OK with interment following in Dripping
Springs Cemetery, Noble, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook
Funeral Home.
