Spurgeon E. "Buck" Jordan died November 4, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years 1 months 25 days.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Lexington, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at Box Cemetery entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Buck was born September 10, 1943 in Valdese, North Carolina to Preston and Mary (Barnes) Jordan. He was raised and attended school in North Carolina. Buck met the love of his life, Juanita (Neugent) Sanders on November 3, 1978, and then married on February 9, 1979. They celebrated every November 3 with a hamburger at Ruby’s. Buck owned and operated Cornerstone printing for years. He was the founder and Pastor of Grace Chapel in Lexington until his retirement in 2014, then became Pastor Emeritus. Buck loved driving around and sight-seeing, singing, fishing, praying and telling others about Jesus. He was an avid joke teller and people watcher. Buck never met a stranger, and often broke out in song wherever he was. He loved spending time with his family, his church family and eating. Buck loved to go to the Golden Corral or "Golden Trough" as he called it.

Buck is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Mary Jordan; sister, Linda; brother, Howard; and mothers-in-law, Reverend Dovie Scalf, and Florence Neugent.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita of the home; son, Clint Sanders and wife Darla of Lexington; daughters, Terresa Bullock of Mountain Home, Idaho; Diana Logan and husband, Rick of Midwest City, Michelle Ryker and husband, Reverend Russell of Wewoka, Judy Baine and husband, James of Bethany; grandchildren, Thomas, Linsey, Brandon, Nikki, Nathan, Sara, Kymberly, Jordan, Chase, Jacklynn, Dalton, Grace, William, Benjamin, David, Lynn, Cody, Leanna, Elisabeth, Erial, Emaleigh; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Price and husband, Harold, Lois Terry, Doris Hall and husband, Dan, and numerous other relatives and friends.
