Graveside services for Tommy "Tuck" Milam will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Tim Harless officiating and burial following in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
Tommy "Tuck" Milam Jr, age 50, of Soper, OK died on October 4, 2009 in Soper, OK. Tuck was born May 20, 1959 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Tommy Ray and Barbara (Harbuck) Milam Sr. He had lived in this area all his life. He married Lana Head on November 15, 1993 in Paris, TX. Tuck worked as a gunsmith for most all his life, in addition to farming and running heavy equipment. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his family, he was a loving, caring man who loved people and would help no matter what.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Samuel C. and Lillie (Herman) Harbuck and Billy and Edna (Mock) Milam.
Tuck is survived by his wife: Lana of the home; two sons: Rocky Milam of Boswell, OK, Raymond Milam of the United States Army and his wife, Destiny; one daughter: Cassie Grace and husband, Stephen of Soper, OK; his parents: Tom and Barbara Milam of Soper, OK; mother-in-law: Lillie Head of Vinita, OK; two brothers-in-law: Derrial Head and his wife, Chanda of Shallowater, TX and Dwain Head and his wife, Linda of Centerpoint, OK; sister-in-law Lesa Morris and husband, Chris of Vinita, OK; five grandchildren: Elizabeth and Hannah Milam, Caleb, Canaan and Corban Grace; numerous cousins including one special cousin: Phillip Milam and his wife, Lajuana of Hugo, OK.
