Patsy A. (Pixley) Williams

A celebration of Patsy's life will take place on Sunday March 30, 2014, at 10:00 am at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Morrison and Rev. Patrice Morrison officiating, and burial following in the Springs Chapel Cemetery. Patsy A. Williams, age 88, of Hugo, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2014.

Patsy was born on November 6, 1925, in Antlers, Ok, the daughter of Dallas A. and Ira E. (Smith) Pixley. She married Jim Williams on April 22, 1944 in Lawton, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim Williams: Dallas and Ira Pixley; three sisters, Hattie Pearl Pixley, Dur Mae Dumont and Catherine Marie Morrison. Five brother-in-laws, Bill Williams, Malcom Williams, Wayne Watts, Cecile Dumont and Howard Morrison; two sister-in-laws, Dorothy Helen Howeth, and Mary Singletary.

Patsy is survived by one son, Jimmy Williams Jr. of Hugo; one daughter Brenda and husband, Max Worrell, Jr. of Oklahoma City; four grandsons Max Worrell III of Dallas TX., Greg Worrell of Oklahoma City, Steve Worrell and his wife, Deedra of Yukon, OK, Benton Williams of Hugo and one granddaughter Macy Allen of Hugo; one great granddaughter Logan Worrell of Yukon, OK; three sister-in-laws, Mary Williams of Oklahoma City, Sula and her husband Bishop C.W. Goforth of Tyler, TX, Pauline Watts of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Patsy was the guardian of the home, and protector of the family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and all family events. Patsy was a dedicated wife, mother, aunt, grandmother "Grandma Patsy" and homemaker. Patsy was a member of Shepard's Chapel Church. Sincere thanks to Dr. Boone, Choctaw Memorial Hospital and Baptist Village of Hugo for their care in Patsy's illness. Patsy will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to sign the guest book or send private condolences to the family at www.praterlampton.com.
