Catherine Marie (Pixley) Morrison

Graveside services will be held at the Spring Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2011, with Keith and Patrice Morrison officiating.

Mrs. Catherine Marie Morrison of Dallas, Texas formerly of Antlers, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday evening in Medical City Hospital in Dallas. Catherine was born August 12, 1931 in Messer, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dallas and Ira Smith Pixley. She was married to Howard Morrison March 11, 1951 in DeQueen, Arkansas and he preceded her in death in 2004. Mrs. Morrison was retired from Taylor Publishing Company and was of Christian faith.

She is survived by children; Keith Morrison and wife Patrice of Flower Mound, Texas; Karen Schreibeis and husband Joe of Cleves, Ohio, and James Morrison of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Summer Turner, Kellie Mulkey, Jana Grant, and Aaron Morrison, and 2 great great grandchildren; Brayden Turner and Gianna Turner. She is also survived by 1 sister; Patsy Williams of Hugo, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Hurst's Fielder Baker Chapel in Farmersville, Texas with Denise Poldrack officiating.
