Funeral services for Aron D. Insco will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Junior Boykin officiating, and burial following in the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, OK.

Aron passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011, in Hugo, OK, at the age of 79. Aron Insco was born September 20, 1932, in Dresden, Tennessee, the son of Martin and Amelia (Collins) Insco. He moved to Chicago, IL in 1942. Later, he moved to California, and while there, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He married Katie Marie McDaniel on October 13, 1976 in Chicago, IL. Aron loved to fish, enjoying Chicago Bears football, and visiting with people. He was very proud of his Italian heritage. He served in the local community as a chaplain, and he was involved in the jail ministry.

He was preceded in death by parents and 8 brothers and sisters.

Aron is survived by wife, Katie Insco, of Van Buran, AR; three daughters, Doretha, Kimberly, and Shawna; six grandchildren, Britney, Matthew, Samantha, William, Tyler, & Taylor; one brother, Dallis Insco, of Orange, CA; one sister, Helen Bonnell, of Boca Raton, FL; 10 nieces & nephews, Nina Palestrino, Mark Carusco, Camie G. Carusco, Donnie Brewer, Doug Brewer, June Cherry, Debbie Cherry, Jimmy Cherry, Jimmie Insco, and Dawn Insco; and a very dear special friend, David Williams, as well as many other friends and relatives.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 6:00-7:00pm at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
