Graveside services for Mona J. Hogan will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Springs Chapel Cemetery Rev. Jim Neeland officiating and burial following in Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Mona J. Hogan died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Paris, TX at the age of 55. Mona was born September 10, 1954 in Boswell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wayman and Doris (Routon) Eastwood. Mona had many achievements during her lifetime; graduating from Boswell High School, Receiving her Associates degree of Nursing from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, OK; she then went on to receive a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education; a Masters Degree in Gifted and Talented Education; and a Masters Degree in Counseling Physiology all from Southeastern Oklahoma State College. Mona also held several Oklahoma Teaching Certificates. Mona dearly loved her two sons and was very proud of the fine young men they have grown up to be. Mona loved her three dogs and loved to spoil them. She was an avid gardener, loved plants and flower beds, always creating new designs and plant combinations.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister. Mona is survived by her husband: Tim Hogan of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Ali Hogan of Dallas, TX, Eric and Joni Hogan of Neosho, MO; two sisters: Sharon Eastwood of Boswell, OK, Deloris Springer of Durant, OK; one brother: Buck Eastwood of Boswell, OK.

The family invites friends to sign the guest book at the funeral home and they will receive friends at their home Wednesday evening.

Mona was loved by all her family and friends and she will be deeply missed.
