Funeral services for Coy Hal Niblett will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Spencerville Church in Spencerville, OK with Pastor Duane Hamil officiating; burial will follow at the Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, OK. Coy passed away February 4, 2017, in Powderly, TX at the age of 91.

Coy Hal Niblett was born January 28, 1926 in Spencerville, OK to Cole & Lola (Johnson) Niblett. He married Joyce Gibson in Hugo, OK on December 28, 1953. Coy lived in this area all his life and was of the Baptist Faith. Coy was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in both World War II and Korean War. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing & ranching, and he had a roping pen at one time for his family. Coy is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack Niblett & Johnny Anderson; and two sisters, Era Faye Wall & Betty Benge.

Coy is survived by his wife, Joyce Niblett, of the home; three sons, Wade Niblett & wife, Shelah, of Powderly, TX, Hal Niblett & wife, Elaine, of Roxton, TX, & Brian Niblett & wife, Teresa, of Powderly, TX; one daughter, Fran Degnan of Poulsbo, WA; grandkids, Evan Niblett & girlfriend, Tayla, David Niblett & wife, Amanda, Shelby Ann Niblett, Riccki Niblett, Brooklyn Willett, Jomia Capers & husband, Baron, Richard Niblett & wife, Jamie, Jay Degnan & wife, Jennifer, Andy Degnan, Kristen Crosten & husband, Micheal, as well as several great-grandchildren; one sister, Coleen Johnson of Ponca City, OK; one brother, Bobby Niblett of Newton, KS; and numerous other family & friends.
