A Celebration of Life service for Lillian Nell Corbett will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK with Pastor Dimpsey Greer officiating; burial will follow at the Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, OK. Nell passed away January 6, 2017, in Brookston, TX at the age of 72.

Lillian Nell Corbett was born May 12, 1944 in Hugo, to Ellsworth Dale Freeman and Getsie Lizzle (Biffle) Freeman. Nell had lived Choctaw County most of her life and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of the Kiamichi Independent Bikers. Nell was an avid reader and enjoyed being with family and friends. Nell and Lawrence Daniel (Larry) Corbett were united in marriage in 1977 in Hugo. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Getsie Freeman; husband, Larry; sons, Mack and Dan Corbett; son-in-law, Wendell Hedrick; brother, Elmer Freeman; grandchild, Ellsworth Gage Franklin; and special friends, Alice Mable Rose and Leo Holland.

Nell is survived by her sons, Dale Wayne Freeman, Billy Franklin, and wife, Melinda, and Ellsworth Franklin, and wife, Carolyn; daughters, Susan Hedrick and Dawn Davis, and husband, Shannon; sisters, Pearl Baskin, Deloris Hinsley, and Mary Sue Lester, and husband, M.C.; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; special friends, Sue George, Ed and Cindy Adus, and Van Snell; her friends with the Kiamichi Independent Biker, Truitt and Patricia Sims and a host of other friends.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK.
