The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Grigsby officiating, and burial will follow at Soper Cemetery in Soper, OK.

Mary Ferguson, age 94, of Soper, OK died on December 8, 2008 in Soper, OK. Mary Ferguson was born on January 24, 1914 in Soper, OK. The daughter of Charles Franklin and Dorcas Jane (Yeargan) Holt. She married George Alonzo Ferguson on April 17, 1930 in Hugo, OK. Mary worked at the Golden Age Home and as a cashier for several grocery stores. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ all of her life, loved singing and was very talented and creative. She was also a member of the Soper Study Club and assisted in raising funds to build the cemetery pavilion. She was a great cook, loved sports, watching her grandchildren play them, and going to their games. She became known as Mary "Go" Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: George Ferguson in 2005; one son: Kenneth Ferguson in 1997; one daughter: Georgiana Ferguson in 2005; one grandson: Matias Espinosa in 1996; one granddaughter: Donna Dominick in 2002; and one great-grandson: Taylor Lester in 2002; three brothers and six sisters.

Mary is survived by two daughters: Barbara Ferguson Dominick of Soper, Ok; Judy Ferguson Lester and husband, Delbert of Soper, OK; one daughter-in-law: Vera Ferguson of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren: Jim and Cara Dominick of Soper, OK, Dayna Dominick, Martin Lester, Shannon Lester and Carey Lester all of Soper, OK, Debbie Ferguson Espinosa of Plano, TX and Ken Ferguson Jr. of Dallas, TX; twelve great-grandchildren: Amy Dominick Padgett and husband, Clay of Norman, OK, Stephanie Goline and husband, Greg of Dallas, TX, Leslie Landrum and husband, Tanner of Ada, OK, Ted Richards III of Hugo, OK, George Richards, Brittani Lester, Dakota Lester, Tanner Lester, Merissa Lester, Jamee Lester, Treyton Lester and Colton Lester all of Soper, OK; two great-great-grandchildren: Brianna Espinosa and Taytum Lynn Goline both of Dallas, TX.
