Funeral services for James "Mac" McFadden will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Prater Lampton Mills & Coffey Chapel with Bro. Lynn Tomlinson Officiating and burial following in the Shoat Springs Cemetery.
James passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. James "Mac" McFadden, age 70, was born May 8, 1940 in Hugo, Oklahoma, to William Burton and Mamie (Fair) McFadden. He lived in Choctaw County until 1963 when he joined the United States Navy. From 1967 until 1992 he lived in the Dallas area where he worked as an electrician for TXU Energy Co for 24 years. He moved back to Choctaw County and started ranching. Mac loved horses, and owned at least one horse for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and owned coon hounds.
He was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by five sisters, Gwen Rodriguez of Mesquite, TX, Louise Tomlin of Oregon City, OR, Ira Belle Simpson of Amarillo, TX, Monette McFadden of TX, Wilma "Deane" Hibbard of Eagle Point, OR; numerous nieces and nephews.
