Funeral services for John Trent will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the New Life Family Church in Boswell, OK, with Pastor David Cahill officiating and burial following at Restland Cemetery.
John passed away Friday, August 31, 2012, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 73. John O'Daniel Trent was born July 16, 1939, in Buckhorn, OK the son of Ray Frank and Georgia Dean (Bonds) Trent. He lived here most of his life and had worked in the oil fields for most of that time before retiring as a rig superintendent. He enjoyed raising horses, playing the guitar and singing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; baby, John Michael Trent. John is survived by three sons, Gary Trent of Boswell, OK, Randy Trent of Glenpool, OK and Tommy E. Trent of Forsyth, GA; one daughter, Kindra Howle of Lindsay, OK; one brother, Andrew Jackson of Tehachapi, CA; one sister, Ann Stillwell of Hugo, OK; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
