Services for Sue Schuessler, 66, of Boswell, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, in Hugo, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boswell First Baptist Church. Revs. Mutt Wallace and Gene Witt will officiate.
Sue Schuessler was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Bennington, the daughter of Park and Letha (Minyard) Goad. She graduated from Bennington High School and lived in Bennington and Boswell all of her life. Sue worked for the Choctaw Nation in Grant as a telephone receptionist for four years. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, loved watching her grandchildren play sports and enjoyed reading.
Sue is survived by: her husband: Kent Schuessler of the home; two sons: Daray Schuessler and wife Lisa of Durant and Karl Schuessler of Boswell; one daughter: Kolinda Moffatt and husband Russell of Soper; her parents: Park and Letha Goad of Durant, and seven grandchildren: Chelsey Schuessler, Cameron Schuessler, Ryan Schuessler, Kaury Hamill, Lane Moffatt, Kyla Schuessler and Konnor Schuessler.
Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Boswell.
The family will receive friends today from 6-7 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo.
Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
