Funeral services for Lenora Jo Brutchin will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Bennie Hammons officiating and burial following in the Restland Cemetery.
Lenora passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. Lenora Jo Brutchin was born January 27, 1946 in Boswell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Odis and Mattie Oletha (Linn) Cahill. She had lived in this area for the past twenty-five years and had lived in Longview, TX for five years.
She married Billy Edward (Red) Brutchin on February 2, 1998 in Durant, OK. She loved to fish, garden, sew welding caps, attend stock car racing when she could, and visiting with her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Brutchin in 2007; father, Odis Cahill; step-father, Charlie Cheek; mother, Mattie Cheek; sisters, Pat Kelley and Arlene Cahill; brothers, Claude Cahill and Thomas Wesley Cahill.
Lenora is survived by her children: Billy Cherry and wife Rhonda, Tammy Rosson and Billy Ray Brutchin all of Sawyer, OK, Billy Dwayne Brutchin of Hugo, OK, Billy Jack Brutchin and wife Carmen, and Billy Joe Brutchin and wife Shawnna all of Kilgore, TX; grandchildren: Johonna and Justin House of Soper, OK, Randy and Dylan Cherry of Sawyer, OK, Billy Austin Brutchin of Atoka, OK, Makinze Brutchin, Cody Brutchin and Christian Brutchin all of Atoka, OK, Alexa Brutchin of Longview, TX, Cheyenne Rosson, Jimmy Kirby, Mat Rosson, Billy Dewayne Brutchin Jr.; great-grandchildren: Ethan House and Emory House both of Soper, OK, Alea Brutchin, Carson Rosson, James L. Kirby; sisters: Vera Turk of Arlington, TX and Merlene Risner of Missouri; brothers: Don and Sherry Cheek of Boswell, OK, Jesse and Paula Cheek and Tommy Dale Cheek all of Bennington, OK.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
