Funeral services for Nettie Fern (James) Bichsel will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boswell First Baptist Church in Boswell, OK with Rev. Gene Witt officiating with burial following in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma.

Nettie Fern (James) Bichsel died Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Boswell, OK at the age of 73. Nettie Fern (James) Bichsel was born September 1, 1936 in Greenfield, OK the daughter of Earnest David and Nettie Alpha (Ledbetter) James. She had lived in this area for the past 8 years after moving here from Amarillo, TX. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Boswell First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Dave James in 1953 and Nettie James in 2006; one brother: Bobby James; one sister: Lorene James.

Fern is survived by one son: Larry Brackett and wife Pam of Amarillo, TX; five brothers: Bill James and wife Willie of Boswell, OK, Gene James of Boswell, OK and Jerry James of Hugo, OK, Ronnie James and wife Pam of Boswell, OK and Joe James of Durant, OK; four sisters: Mae Hudman of Citrus Heights, CA, Darlene Williams of Hugo, OK, Sue Moore and June Garner of Boswell, OK; five grandchildren: Nic Brackett, Zac Brackett and wife Stephanie, Brec Brackett and wife Libby, Sunny Brackett and Seth Brackett all of Amarillo, TX; three great-grandchildren: Gaige Brackett, Cole Brackett & Hope Brackett all of Amarillo, TX.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 6-7 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
