Funeral services for Carolyn Fern Tyner will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Jessie Babcock officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Carolyn passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 in Hugo, Oklahoma at the age of 63. Carolyn Fern Tyner was born September 14, 1946 in Paris, Texas, the daughter of William Elmer and Jessie Oakes (Kitchens) Basham. She moved here from Garland, TX 12 years ago. Carolyn was an artist and loved to sing. She enjoyed making quilts and making grilled cheese sandwiches.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Steve Tyner.
Carolyn is survived by one daughter Patricia Ann Tyner of Hugo, OK; two brothers and sisters-in-law: William & Judy Basham of Garland, TX, Charles & Shirley Basham of Hooks, TX; one sister and brother-in-law: Lula Pearl & Monroe Bivens of Whichita Falls, TX.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
