Funeral services for H. T. "Butch" Logan will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Unity Baptist Church of Hugo, OK with Rev. Burgie Thompson officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Butch went to be with the Lord after a long illness on Monday, December 10, 2012, in Antlers, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. Herman Thomas "Butch" Logan was born May 25, 1938, in Soper, OK the son of Earl and Lillie (Wright) Logan. He had lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and the Hugo Masonic Lodge. He married Surilda Joyce Slaton on July 30, 1960, in the Grant Baptist Church in Grant, OK. Butch was an Auto Parts store manager for 38 years. He loved to play music on his guitar and piano with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Earl Logan and his mother Lillie Logan, one brother Don Logan.

Butch is survived by his wife of 52 years, Surilda Logan of the home; daughters, Cindy Whisenhunt of Mannsville, OK, Leslie Green and husband Jim of Hugo, OK; sister, May Nell Simpson of Hugo, OK; brother, Harold Logan and wife Meda of Enid, OK; brother, Rogene Logan of Denison, TX; grandchildren, Darren Glory and fiancee Kayla Brown of Pauls Valley, OK, Lane Glory and wife Brooke of Ardmore, OK, and Whitney Bell of Hugo, OK; great-grandchildren, Kamren Phillips, Ridlee Glory and Brody Brown; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December12, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral home Chapel in Hugo, OK.
