Charley Park Johnson

Choctaw County, Oklahoma

Charley Park Johnson was born on Jan 31, 1868 in Weakley County, Tennessee, the son of John Philip and Eliza Jane 'Reddick' Johnson. Around 1871 his family moved to Arkansas, then in 1875 they migrated to Bowie County, Texas, and in 1900 the census places them in Lamar County, Texas.

Around 1905 Charley and his wife Etta were living in Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma. They had one daughter, Jewel G., born in Hugo, in 1906. Charley died in Hugo on September 18, 1953. He is buried in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma. © Tom Johnson
