Winifred "Wynn" N. Harris

Funeral services for Winifred N. Harris will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Rick Lawrenson officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Winifred went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 23, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 85.

Winifred N. Harris was born June 28, 1927, in Thomasville, Missouri, the son of Ted and Agnes (Campbell) Harris. He served his country in the United State Air Force during WWII. He married Judy Anita Harris on July 17, 1976, in Spencerville, OK. He had lived in this area and was a member of the Clayton Avenue Baptist Church before moving to West Plains, MO to be near family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy Harris in 2001; son, Larry and daughter, Carolyn.

Winifred is survived by two sons, Thomas N. Harris and wife, Erma of West Plains, MO, Mike Harris and wife, Doris of Mt. View, MO; one daughter, Wendy Dunkin of West Plains, MO; one step-daughter, Anita Butler and husband, Gene of Midland, TX; one step-son, Jackie Story and wife, Betty of Joplin, MO; several grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
