Funeral services for Sarah Gooding will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Billy Irions officiating and burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK. Sarah passed from this life while surrounded by family on Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Paris, TX at the age of 84.

Sarah Delene Gooding was born January 23, 1930, in Grant, OK, the daughter of Alfred Clifton and Stella Mae (Keith) Flanagan. She married Hal Gooding on February 19, 1949, in Arkansas. She worked at the store with her husband until they retired. Sarah enjoyed going fishing and picking up pecans. In addition, she always stayed up on current events and enjoyed having spirited conversations about such with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Hal Gooding on February 27, 2006.

Sarah is survived by two sons, Jesse Hal "Butch" Gooding and wife Rhonda of Grant, OK, Clifton Gooding and wife Lori of OKC, OK; one brother, John Clifton Flanagan of Whitesboro, TX; grandchildren, Keri Delene Amis of Paris, TX, Rachael Delene Gooding of OKC, OK, Buckley Hal Gooding of Pattonville, TX Misty Lynn Halcomb of Paris, TX, Joey Renfro of Powderly, TX, Colby Dugan of Overland Park, KS, Adalyn Owens of Aberdeen, OH; great-grandchildren, Taylor Bills of Paris, TX, Riley Bills of Paris, TX, Abigail Gooding of Pattonville, TX, Madelyn Gooding of Pattonville, TX, Audrey Gooding of Pattonville, TX, Weston Gooding of Pattonville, TX, Ella Amis of Paris, TX, Cannon Amis of Paris TX, Carter Renfro, Camden Renfro, Cooper Renfro, Cenedy Renfro, Charlie Renfro all of Pattonville, TX, Ashlyn Owens of Aberdeen, OH, and DeeDee Owens of Grant, OK.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
