Memorial services for Ruth German will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bill Darrough Pavilion at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK with Rev. Britt Lesley officiating.

Ruth passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 91. Ruth German was born December 24, 1919 in Hugo, Oklahoma, to W. T. and Ona (Rice) Glenn. She had lived in Hugo all of her life and was a member of the Clayton Ave. Baptist Church. She married Asbury German on September 25, 1937 in Antlers, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Asbury German in 1984; one brother, Charles Ernest "Buster" Daugherty.

Ruth is survived by one niece, Myra Daugherty Thurman and husband Gary of Midland, TX; two great-nieces, Lauren Hornell and husband Allen with children, Katie, Anna, Emily and Madelyn; and Jeanne Underwood and husband Jim with children, Sam, Josh and Sarah; special friends, Bill & Loyce Hardaway and Mark, Mica & Brian Holbrook.
