Curtis Lemmons passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 56.
Curtis Lemmons was born September 17, 1953 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Charlie Jefferson and Martha Mae (McClain) Lemmons. Curtis was a life-long resident of this area and graduate from Grant High School. He worked for the City of Hugo doing several different jobs, including police dispatcher. Curtis was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. He enjoyed horses, dogs, classic cars, and pickup trucks. He had a great collection of knives and cigarette lighters. He loved spending time with his grandkids.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Theo Lemmons, Timothy Lemmons, Stephen Lemmons; sister: Martha Elaine Lemmons; daughter: Reesa Lemmons; grandson: James Trevor Yarbrough; niece: Diana Lemmons.
He is survived by his daughter: Melissa Lemmons of Ft. Towson, OK; four granddaughters: Kayla Hammons, Shelbie Reese, Lindsey Yarbrough, Lorrie Yarbrough; one grandson: Jeremy Branson Yarbrough all of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; two brothers: Jodie Lemmons of Hugo, OK, Tom Lemmons of Wright City, OK; one sister: Lema Jane Shehan of Ft. Towson, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, many special friends and buddies.
