Memorial services for Don Langley will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK with Sheriff Jim Duncan and OHP Darrell Wofford officiating.
Don Langley died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in Antlers, OK at the age of 74. Don Langley was born January 2, 1936 in Laredo, Texas, the son of Willis and Lorena (Burdine) Langley. He graduated from Ardmore High School and attended Oklahoma University for one year. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Don has been living in the Hugo area for the past 40 years.
He married Linda Helen Crosby on October 23, 1987 in Paris, TX. Don was a dedicated Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officer and had retired as a Second Lieutenant after nearly 30 years of service. He was extremely proud of his grandson Brandan, who is graduating Saturday with a math degree at E.C.U. in Ada, OK.
Don was preceded in death by his parents.
Don is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; special friends, Mark and Becky Rosa and family of Hugo, OK; four grandchildren, Brandan Rosa of Hugo, OK, Breanna Rosa, and Matthew Darst both of Antlers, OK and Lauren Shackleford of Dallas, TX; one brother, Gail Langley of Oklahoma City, OK; two nephews, Terry and David Langley both of Oklahoma City, OK; one aunt, Colleen McGuffin and husband Lyle of Kerrville, TX; two daughters from a previous marriage.
