Jarrett Wayne Howser passed from this life on April 1, 2014 at the age of 32 in Sawyer, Ok. Jarrett was born March 6, 1982 to John & Karen Howser in Hugo, Ok. He was a loving brother to Brandy Howser McKnight and Kimberley Howser Fowler. He loved spending time with family and friends. His nieces and nephews were his world. Jarrett loved making others laugh and had a smile and laugh of his own that was contagious to anyone that was around him. He was kind, gentle, generous and sincere. Jarrett also had a whit about him that was frustrating to those that loved him, but it was also one of the qualities that everyone around him loved most about him.
Jarrett is survived by his parents John & Karen Howser of Sawyer, OK; Sister and brother-in-law Jim & Brandy McKnight, nephew and niece Austin & Taylor McKnight of Sawyer; Sister and brother-in-law Chris & Kimberley Fowler, nephews and niece Ayden, Creed & Keeli Fowler of Sawyer; Step-son Preston Black; Grandparents Paul & Barbara Howser of Hugo; Grandmother Juanita Jones of Sawyer; Uncle & Aunt Tommy & Missi Jones of Sawyer; Clyde & Debby Gibbons of Paris, TX; Isaac Howser of Hugo; Ray Howser of Paris, TX; David & Kathy Prickett of Katy, TX; James & Penny Walker of San Antonio, TX; Dean & Charlotte Winton of Paris, TX as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jarrett is preceded in death by his Grandfather Gerald Jones and great-grandparents.
A combined memorial service for Jarrett and his grandfather Gerald Jones will be Monday, April 7, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Hugo at 2 p.m. The service will be officiated by Mike Bryant at the First Baptist Church of Hugo will also be hosting a meal for the family at 12 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
The family is asking that donations be made at First United Bank to Traig Brown - Heavenly Acres Foundation for troubled youth.
