Graveside services for Jerry Wayne Smith will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Grant Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Lane officiating. Jerry passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in Grant, Oklahoma at the age of 55.
Jerry Wayne Smith was born February 25, 1960, in Hugo, OK, the son of Robert Lee & Sue (Wyatt) Smith. He lived in this area his entire life and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Grant Baptist Church and enjoyed playing drums, fishing, and skydiving. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Smith.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Sue Smith of Grant, OK; one brother, Glenn Smith of Grant, OK; three sisters, Teresa Allen of Mexia, TX, Bobbie Cabra of Gallatin, MO, & Terry McClain of Grant, OK; his close friends, David Peters of Grant, OK, and John Davidson of Ft. Towson, OK; ten nieces and three nephews, as well as many other friends and family in his community.
