Funeral Services for Faye (Smith) Moffitt will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm. John William Moffitt will be officiating services with burial to follow at Grant Cemetery in Grant, OK. Faye passed from this life on December 23, 2014; she was 85 years old.

Faye Moffitt was born March 23, 1929, in Forney, Oklahoma, to Charlie Oscar and Artie Pearl (Satterfield) Smith. She passed from this life December 23, 2014, in Paris, TX, at the age of 85.

Faye was a wonderful loving mother and homemaker. The things that gave her the most joy in life were singing, visiting with family & friends, going to the Nutrition Center & Wal-Mart, shopping, celebrating holidays, and being with her family.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Moffitt, her parents, two brothers: Robert Smith & Virgil Smith, one sister: Nell Choate, one daughter: Linda Eyvonne White, and one grand-daughter: Kayrene Pearl Gallant.

She is survived by four sons: Darrell Moffitt, Larry Moffitt, Johnny Moffitt and wife Barbara, and Dennis Moffitt, all of Hugo, OK, two daughters: Pamela Alvarez and husband, Junior, of Reno, TX, and Rhonda Teague and husband, Gary, of Hugo, OK, four sisters-in-law: Sue Smith of Grant, OK, Joan Hamm and husband, Bobby, of Godley, TX, Judy Moffitt of Powderly, TX, and Doris Moffitt of Paris, TX, one brother-in-law: Thomas Moffitt and wife, Ralph Ann, of Powderly, TX, 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, other family members, and a host of dear friends.
