Memorial services for Ruth Max will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Grant Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Tomlinson officiating and burial following in the Grant Cemetery.
Ruth passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, in Omaha, NE at the age of 98. Ruth T. Max was born September 27, 1911, in Grant, OK the daughter of Thomas and Henryetta Dixon.
She married Lee Max in 1933. Ruth had lived in this area before moving to Omaha, NE twelve years ago to be near her family. She was a devoted housewife and would do anything for everybody.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lee Max.
Ruth is survived by son, Larry Max and wife, Mary of Omaha, NE; granddaughter, Jenny Snell of Omaha, NE; grandson, Lee Glen Max of Omaha, NE; great-granddaughter, Kari Landry of Maryland; great-great-granddaughter, Savannah Peklo of Omaha, NE; great-great-grandson, Nathan Landry of Maryland; nieces, nephews and many friends.
