Funeral services for Thomas Edward Davidson will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Larry Minchey and Pastor Eddie Lane officiating, with burial following in the Grant Cemetery in Grant, OK. Thomas passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 in Paris, Texas, at the age of 95.

Thomas Edward Davidson was born November 17, 1919 in Grant, OK, to Arlo and Pearl (Dillard) Davidson. He lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Grant Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army and was captured as a POW in Germany during World War II. Thomas married Lucille Lewellen on April 27, 1946 in Hugo, OK. He was self employed in the construction business and worked for Brown & Root Construction Company. He was a member of the D.A.V., as well as the Democratic Party. He enjoyed gardening, cattle ranching, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Lara Sue Todd; grandson, Johnny Ray Davidson; brother, Terrell Eugene Davidson; and sisters, Dorothy Young & Margie Mickens.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Lucille (Lewellen) Davidson of the home; daughter, Gwenda English and husband, George, of DeKalb, TX; sons, Johnny Davidson of Grant, OK, Terrell Davidson and wife, Sue, of Ft. Towson, OK, and Audie Davidson of Grant, OK; brothers, Mack Davidson of Duncanville, TX, Kenneth "A.D." Davidson of Grant, OK, and Harvey Don Davidson of Hugo, OK; sisters, Etta Gordon of Paris, TX, and Betty Sain and husband, Etharege, of Chicota, TX; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
