Funeral services for Ruby Darlene Heady will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Demp Greer officiating; burial will follow later in the Goodland Cemetery. Ruby passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 in Hugo, OK, at the age of 68.
Ruby Darlene Heady was born August 31, 1947 in Chicota, Texas, to Luther Jackson and Nora Mae (Hoffard) Workman. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, quilting, and spending time with family and her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Ruby is survived by her children, Frankie Heady & wife, Iantha, of Hugo, OK, Ruby Mims & husband, James, of Hugo, OK, Beverly Bonomo & husband, Michael, of Eunice, NM, & Harlen Heady of Mead, OK; one brother, Clifton Workman of Grant, OK; two sisters, Irene Lewis of Mead, OK, and Stella Heady of Grant, OK; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
