Martha Lee (Edwards) Bevels was born October 16, 1947 in Greenville, TX to Roy Dee & Willia Dean (Butler) Edwards. She married Alva Lee Bevels, Sr. on July 17, 1964. She lived in the area for over 40 years after moving from Brownfield, TX. She worked as maintenance for the Choctaw Nation, and she was of the Baptist faith. Martha enjoyed shopping, searching on the Internet, & playing at the casino.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alva Lee Bevels, Sr.; her parents; one brother, Richard Edwards; & one sister, Linda Edwards.
Martha is survived by her sons, Alva Lee Bevels, Jr. of Hugo, OK & Terry Joe Bevels of Hugo, OK; her daughters, Lynn Shannon & husband, Gerald, of Hugo, OK, & Theresa Jones & husband, Timothy Cooksey, of Hugo, OK; one sister, Norma Halcomb of Brownfield, TX; twelve grandchildren & eight great-grandchildren, as well as many other family & friends.
