Funeral services for Mary Etta Shufeldt will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ft. Towson Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Frazier officiating and burial following in the Ft. Towson Cemetery.
Mary died Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Oakdale, LA at the age of 38. Mary Etta Shufeldt was born November 20, 1971 in Irvine, KY, the daughter of Burnice Fred and Dorothy Lee (Barker) Cole.
She married Mark Shufeldt and they lived in Oakdale, LA. Mary was a homemaker who cared deeply for her family. She became an avid NASCAR watcher, and was a big fan of #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr.
She was preceded in death by her step-father: Frank Hayward; two infant sons: Lance & Vance Sharp in 1992; one sister: Kathy Sue Self and one brother: David Alan Cole.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Mark Shufeldt of 18 years of the home; one son: Kevin Mark Shufeldt of Oakdale, LA; one step-son: Leslie Clay Shufeldt of Rattan, OK; her mother Dorothy Lee Hayward of Ft. Towson, OK; two brothers: Manuel Ray Cole, and Bobby Wayne Cole and his wife Patricia both of Tulsa, OK; also numerous nieces and nephews.
