Funeral services for Paul “Son”¯ Mendoza will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ft. Towson, OK with Rev. Bennie Hammons officiating and burial following in the Ft. Towson Cemetery. Paul passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 93.

Paul Mendoza was born December 24, 1919, in Sweetwater, Texas, the son of Arcadio and Delita (Floriss) Mendoza. He lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ft. Towson, OK. He married Desma Taylor in 1941. Paul was a rancher and served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Desma Mendoza and brother-in-law, Ishmel Taylor. Paul is survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Childers of Ft. Towson, OK, Margaret Taylor of Slidell, LA and Shirley Taylor of Hugo, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
