Funeral services for Don Ralph Dozier will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Ft. Towson, OK with Bro. Stanley Pope, Bro. Dean Young, Bro. Rick Lawrenson and Bro. Clifton Morris officiating, and burial following in Ft. Towson Cemetery.

Don Ralph Dozier went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 11, 2010, at the age of 77. Don Ralph Dozier was born October 25, 1932, in Ft. Towson, OK the son of Ralph and Edith Dozier. He retired from American Airlines in Ft. Worth, TX in 1986. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955 in Korea. Don was a member of the Ft. Towson First Baptist Church and a life time member of the VFW and DAV. He enjoyed working on his place, in his shop, working in the church, and you could find him and Jean most every Friday eating at his favorite restaurant, Fish Tales.

Don married the love of his life on April 17, 1953. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage, traveling together to many places, visiting all but 2 of the 50 states.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Edith Dozier; one brother, Kay Andrew Dozier; and one son Don Ralph Dozier Jr.

Don is survived by his wife, Jean Dozier of the home; 3 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends. Serving as pallbearers are Allen Carroll, Lewis Collins, Steve Collins, Mark Earthman, Justin Golden, Troy Hickman, William Vandever and Jimmy White. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you celebrate Don’s life by giving to the charitable organization of your choice.
