Funeral services for Roy Dean Brandon will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Corinth Baptist Church of Ft. Towson with Rev. Bennie Hammons officiating and burial following in Fort Towson Cemetery in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma.

Roy D. Brandon died Sunday, April 4, 2010, in Dallas, TX at the age of 65. Roy Dean Brandon was born November 1, 1944, in Ft. Towson, OK the son of Lawrence and Laurrence (Luttrull) Brandon. He was raised in the Ft. Towson area and was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. Roy served his country in the United States Army during Viet Nam from 1970 to 1972 and received the Army Commendation Medal with "V" Device. He was self-employed as a home builder for fifteen years in Dallas, TX. He moved back to Ft. Towson in 2000 and was a lifetime member of the D.A.V.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Laurrence Brandon; brother, Jerry W. Brandon and nephew, Douglas Good.

Roy is survived by his sister, Joyce Hunter of Fort Towson, OK; brother, Jimmy Brandon and wife Nancy of Ft. Towson, OK; sister-in-law, Joyce Brandon of Broken Bow, OK; seven nephews, Dwayne Brandon of Ft. Benning, GA, John Good of Ft. Towson, OK, Danny Brandon of Atlanta, GA, Larry Brandon of Lancaster, TX, Tony Good of Duncanville, TX, Jerry Brandon of Ft. Towson, OK and Tim Hunter of Indiana.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
