Funeral services for Irene Bradley will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Jessie Babcock officiating and burial following in the Ft. Towson Cemetery.

Irene passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. Sula Irene Bradley was born June 15, 1933 in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma, to Ira and Kate (Watterson) Sales. Irene was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Hugo.

She married Louis Levie Bradley on October 9, 1954. Irene dearly loved her family and friends. She was a member of the Gospel Life Center and loved visiting church members with her pastor, Sister Adams. She loved to fish and enjoyed visits from her granchildren. Irene enjoyed bakings delicious pies and cakes for family gatherings and worked diligently to keep the Sales Family Reunion going until she became too ill to continue it. She was quick to accept and love everyone. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Bradley on October 12, 1994; her parents Ira and Kate (Watterson) Sales; grandson, Jason Smith; brothers, Osker Lee Sales and Bill Burris; sister, Ruth (Sales)Wallace; brother-in law, Rev. Mutt Wallace.

Irene is survived by five sons: Dean Sales and wife Sarah of Sawyer, OK, James Bradley and wife Barbara of Sand Springs, OK, Eldon Bradley and wife Joyce of Hugo, OK, Bryce Bradley and wife Jeannie of Powderly, TX and Louis Bradley Jr. of Hugo, OK;one brother, Ray Sales and wife Janet of Crockett, TX; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; Sister-in-law Jane Burris of Sawyer, OK; numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral home will be open until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 for any family and friends to spend time together at their convenience. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the memorial fund in her name at the Security First National Bank of Hugo.
