Funeral services for Margaret Bookout will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Doug McClure officiating and burial following in the Ft. Towson Cemetery in Ft. Towson, OK. Margaret passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 98.

Margaret Althea Elizabeth Bookout was born December 12, 1914 in Wicks, AR, the daughter of Steve and Miriam (Hildreath) Morris. Margaret was a homemaker and lived in this area most of her life. She enjoyed quilting, reading, crocheting and working in her flower beds.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Charles Bookout; three daughters, Grace Davenport, Evelyn Dunn and Clara Mae Bookout; two grandsons, Richard Bookout and Christopher Kizer, Great Grandson Daniel Wright.

Margaret is survived by four sons: James Bookout and wife Tanna of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Bob Bookout and wife Cynthia of San Diego, CA; Steve Bookout and wife Gail of Hugo, OK; and John Bookout and wife Patsy of Bakersfield, CA; three daughters, Joyce Killebrew of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Doris Kizer and husband Gayle of Hugo, OK, Shirley Barnes of Paris, TX; Brother, Bill Morris of Victoria, Texas; sisters, Eva "Dink" Humphries of Hugo, OK and Mary Jo Rodriguez and husband Henry of Hugo, OK. 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6, 2013, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
