Services for Charles “Chuck” Wayne Proctor were held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2012, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Randy Proctor officiating. Interment followed in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Charles “Chuck” Wayne Proctor was born Oct. 28, 1954, in Porter, to Goodlow and Phyllis (Sharp) Proctor and departed this life on Friday, July 6, 2012, in Tahlequah, at the age of 57 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Chuck enjoyed life and loved working in his company, Proctor Promotions. He enjoyed being able to meet so many different people. He enjoyed music of all genres. He enjoyed playing golf, watching OU football and Dallas Cowboys football. He was a member of the Phi Lambda Chi fraternity at Northeastern State University and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree. Chuck touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Goodlow Proctor.

He is survived by a loving family, which includes his spouse, Ella Proctor, of the home; son Chad Proctor of Norman, and daughter Sara Proctor-Habibi and husband Matt, of Enid; his mother, Phyllis Proctor, of Tahlequah; one sister, Debra Proctor and husband Jeff Walton, of Park Hill; brother Curtis Proctor-Artz and partner Bill, of Wichita, Kan.; niece, Tricia Fishburn, of Ada; nephews Tommy Howard of Rayden, Dustin Geasland and wife Lindsey, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Derek Geasland of Tahlequah; and one grandson, Hayden Habibi of Enid. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.
