Elouise Piersall, the daughter of Joseph and Nora (Tindell) Thompson, was born January 17, 1911 in Tahlequah and departed this life on April 6, 2010, in Tahlequah at the age of 99 years, 2 months and 20 days.

Elouise enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Claud Piersall; one son, Billy Carl Piersall; one daughter, Roena Mullins; three brothers, Benny Thompson, Carl Thompson and an infant brother; and two sisters, Mable Carlisle and an infant sister.

She is survived by a loving family which includes: two sons, Tommy Clayton Piersall of Tahlequah, and Evert Kelly Piersall and wife Judith of Katy, Texas; one sister, Maxine Barb of Wilmington, Calif.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Tahlequah City Cemetery with Brother David Roberts officiating. Services were entrusted to Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
