TAHLEQUAH – Ruby Mae McGrew Molloy, was born to Lou and Elizabeth McGrew in Shidler, July 21, 1932. She completed her earthly journey and went to be with her Lord and savior Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Hart Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at the South College Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Ruby was one of seven children, and graduated from Shidler High School in 1950 before marrying her sweetheart, R.H. Molloy, on May 28, 1950 in Shidler. They made their home in Cherokee County, where they spent the next 52 years working side-by-side on their dairy and cattle operation.

Ruby was a loving wife and homemaker who was active in the Bald Hill Community and in her children's lives through PTA and school activities.

Ruby was a longtime member of the South College Church of Christ, where she was a favored Bible class teacher. She loved children, and spent many summers enjoying them as a counselor and later as a volunteer cook at Burnt Cabin Christian Camp. An important part of her weekly routine was ladies' Bible class, and working on projects with the quilters every Tuesday.

Ruby lived her life each and every day doing her best to follow Christ's example through service to others. She set a shining example and was a great influence to her children, grandchildren, neighbors and all those around her to also live their lives for Christ.

Ruby was one of the founders of the Cherokee County Cattlewomen's Association, and an active member for many years.

Her hobbies included sewing, reading, canning, jelly-making and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was happiest when her kitchen was full of family for Saturday morning biscuits and gravy, or when spoiling everyone with their favorite holiday treats.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, R. H.; both of her parents and R.H.'s parents; two brothers, Thomas and Paul McGrew, and one sister-in-law, Mildred Reed.

She is survived by her four children, Eddie Molloy and wife Sue, Steve Molloy and wife Pat, Robin Watts and husband Tim, all of Tahlequah, and Donna Little and husband Bill of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Dell Molloy, Dana Daniels and husband Dustin, Andy Molloy and wife Nikki, and Dacia Watts, all of Tahlequah, Kim Diaz and husband Jason, of Pittsburg, Kan., Ashley Little of Oklahoma City, Allen Little of Tulsa, and Devin Watts and wife Cali of Nashville, Tenn. She is also survived by her sisters Pat Wright and husband James of Temple, Texas, and Kay Hayes of Tahlequah; and brothers Bob McGrew and wife Alice, and John McGrew and wife Lani of Norman; two sisters-in-law, Reba Rickard of Pawhuska,  and Mary Molloy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Lillie, Mallory, Daily, Cynch, Wyatt and Blake; many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks considering donations to Burnt Cabin Christian Camp, P.O. Box 97, Tahlequah, Okla., 74464; American Cancer Society; or Oklahoma Special Olympics.
