TAHLEQUAH — Services for James Thomas Larchey Jr. will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday Oct. 1, 2011, at the Hart Funeral Chapel in Tahlequah, with Father Jeff Polasek officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at the Hart Funeral Chapel.

James Thomas Larchey Jr., son of James Thomas Sr. and Ruth (Anson) Larchey, was born Nov. 26, 1926, in Kildare, and departed this life in Tahlequah, on Sept. 28, 2011, at the age of 84 years, 10 months and two days.
James was retired from the U.S. Navy, he retired from the Rodeo Meat Company and he worked for Northeastern State University for 10 years.
He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church. James enjoyed spending time at the Senior Citizens Center playing dominoes and pitch. James loved dancing.
James touched many lives, and will be dearly missed on all who knew and loved him.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlotte Anne Larchey and two grandchildren.
He is survived by a loving family, which includes his four children, Marietta Wilson and husband Pete of Tahlequah, Joyce Larchey of Tahlequah, Carrol Cooper and husband Willie of Shawnee, and James Thomas Larchey III of Tahlequah; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
